What is a wall art lamp?
A wall art lamp is artwork and a light in one piece, hung on the wall like a framed print. Ours are a panel of 3 mm acrylic, UV-printed gradient, set in an aluminum frame 50 mm deep, with LEDs and their power supply built in behind it.
- Lamp off: a quiet, color-field print on your wall.
- Lamp on: the gradient glows from within and throws a warm light onto the wall and into the room.
- In between: a knob at the bottom of the frame turns the glow up or down.
Because the light passes through the art, you see a glowing image, not a bulb, a strip or a tube.
How is it different from neon signs and LED strips?
All three put light on a wall, but they do different jobs.
- Neon and LED neon signs are words or shapes in lines of light. They make a statement, and they look like a sign when they're off.
- LED strips are hidden behind a TV, a headboard or a shelf to wash the wall with light. When they're off, there's nothing to see.
- A wall art lamp is a finished piece of art when it's off, and a soft, even glow when it's on. It's the one to choose if you want the wall to look good all day, not only at night.
Where does a wall art lamp look best?
Anywhere you'd hang a framed print and would like softer light in the evening.
- Above a sofa in the living room, as the main piece on the wall.

It plugs into a regular wall outlet: the power supply is built into the frame, and it has a cable with a standard 2-pin plug, from the bottom center of the frame, next to the brightness knob. Pick a spot where the cable can reach an outlet.
Which size should I get for my wall?
Our pieces come in two square sizes.
- 800 × 800 mm: for above a sofa, a bed or a console, or any wall you want to anchor with one piece. Hang the bottom of the frame about 20 to 25 cm above the sofa back.
- 550 × 550 mm: for hallways, desk walls, beside a TV, bedrooms and smaller condo rooms. Two side by side also fill the wall above a wide sofa.
