Aliwalas means a room that breathes.
In Filipino, a home that is maaliwalas is bright, open and easy to rest in. We make light panels that do that for a room: a quiet print by day, a warm glow by night. Each piece is framed by hand and made to hang like art, not a lamp.

Questions, answered
What is an acrylic artwork lamp?
It is a framed acrylic panel printed with a soft color gradient and lit from within by LEDs. With the light off it hangs like minimalist color-field art. Switch it on and it becomes an aesthetic lamp that fills the room with a warm horizon glow. Some people call it an acrylic lamp or an illuminated art panel.
Is it wall art or a lamp?
Both. Each Aliwalas Home piece is an artwork lamp: a quiet print on the wall by day, and a soft, warm aesthetic lamp by night.
What is the difference between Takipsilim and Siklab?
Takipsilim (dusk) is a horizon gradient of gold, amber and violet in a woodgrain aluminum frame. Siklab (spark) is a red-orange ember on a coal-dark field in a matte black aluminum frame.
What sizes are available?
Every piece comes in two square sizes: 800 × 800 mm and 550 × 550 mm. Use the living-room preview on the home page to see each size to scale above a sofa.
How is it powered and hung?
Each piece has its LED power supply built into the frame, and a cable with a standard 2-pin plug, from the bottom center of the frame, next to the brightness knob. It plugs into a regular wall outlet and isn't battery or USB powered. The frame is 50 mm deep and hangs on the wall like a framed print.
Do you deliver across the Philippines?
Yes. Delivery within Metro Manila is free. For orders outside Metro Manila we quote shipping after you order.
Where can I buy a Sol Study–style light in the Philippines?
Sol Study is a separate brand, and Aliwalas Home is not affiliated with it. If you like that kind of glowing gradient panel, our acrylic artwork lamps are in the same family, and you can order them here with prices in pesos, free delivery within Metro Manila and shipping across the Philippines.
How do I pay?
